As a current candidate for an MFA in Design I am completing a thesis project based on methods of combining of materials gathered from the leftovers, trash and scraps that man leaves behind. In some cases man has changed the landscape and then moved on leaving debris in his wake. In others he is still actively producing these materials. The materials I use include textile and other industry cast offs, old rusty engine parts, wood scraps and design or art products being thrown away.
